Born and raised in Doncaster, UK, Matthew Lee Kanji has spent his life immersed in music. With over 20 years of experience in creating, performing, and producing, Matthew’s journey began with a guitar in hand and a passion for sound that never stopped growing.

For 12 years, he toured internationally as the lead guitarist in a function band, performing across eight different countries and connecting with audiences from every corner of the world. Along the way, he honed his skills not only as a performer but as a storyteller through music.

What started as a hobby — recording his own ideas at home — evolved into a full-fledged career in music production. Today, from his base in Malaysia, Matthew works with artists, filmmakers, and creators worldwide, crafting original music that blends emotion, texture, and energy.

A true multi-instrumentalist, Matthew plays the guitar, piano, and drums, and brings a deep understanding of arrangement, tone, and dynamics to every project he touches. His goal is simple: to make music that feels alive — whether it’s a cinematic score, a game soundtrack, or a track that tells its own story.
